Upper Peninsula Bible Camp

We did another week at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp (UPBC) with friends his year. It was a great time. We had our friends the Lewis' and the Thomas' that we were able to share a cabin with, and everything worked out great. The kids spent their days running around outside, doing activities, and playing with other kids.

We left the day before, spent the night at a hotel, and stopped at Palms Book State Park for some sightseeing before heading to camp. We drove up with my friend Meredith and two of her kids (her husband and daughter joined us the next day at camp). Her son, Jude, is around Asher's age and her daughter, Tru, is Eden's age.

We stopped at the same little diner that we stopped at last year. Asher and Jude had fun writing on the chalk board...as you can see.

This was our stop at Kitch-iti-kipi (at the Palms Book State Park), which is Michigan's largest freshwater spring. It was very pretty. We were able to take an observation raft across the springs and view all the way to the bottom of  the spring.

This opening was in the middle of the raft so that you could see all the way down.

Let camp begin!
