Build-A-Bear

Eric and I took Judah to experience his first Build-A-Bear!  I got a good deal through Groupon a while back, and I needed to use the coupon by the end of the year, so off we went for a fun outing.  Here are some pics of Judah's first experience "making" his own stuffed animal.

Which one should we choose?
No, Judah, you cannot pick the pink bunny.
We finaly settled on the monkey (actually daddy's choice because Judah couldn't pick).
Judah was fascinated by the stuffing machine and the whole stuffing process.
Picking out a heart to put inside the monkey (his favorite part of the process)

 Finishing up

We also decided to let Judah make one for his little sister so he can give it to her after she is born.  We picked a bear for her.

Now he's really getting into it!

Uh-oh Spaghetti-o

Judah is always keeping us on our toes.  He is a curious little fellow and likes to touch or grab anything he can gets his hands on, especially if it's something new to him.  Today, Judah found an open box of uncooked spaghetti on the counter and decided that it would be fun to play with it.  Eric and I turned around to find this...

Who Me?
It was so cute because Eric and I started talking about picking up the spaghetti, and Judah began putting individual spaghetti pieces back in the box.

Judah even showed the cat the mess he made.
Ah, well...what would a little boy be without a little curiosity?  These next photos have nothing to do with the spaghetti incident, but they were taken shortly after.  I'll use any excuse to post more pictures.

Christmas 2010

It's hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone already!  We met Eric's side of the family in Galena this year and stayed there to celebrate Christmas.  We rented a really nice house, so we had plenty of room for us and the kids.  It also snowed quite a bit this year, which made for a wonderful white Christmas.  I took lots of pictures, which should be no surprise to anyone who knows me.  I would tell you that I have tried to pick only my favorites for the blog, but there are still probably too many pictures, so that's how it goes. :)

This is what we saw on part of our drive to Galena.  I actually made Eric pull over on the highway so that I could take a picture of it.  Isn't it beautiful?
Judah loves playing and being silly with his Uncle Brian!

We actually had our Christmas meal on Christmas Eve this year.  Eric and his brother did a great job carving the meat!

 a pair of pajamas!
Grandma Rowe introduced Judah to the candy cane this year.
As you can tell, he loved it (sticky mess and all) and didn't want to stop sucking on it!

Pure cuteness...
Judah with his cousins...aren't they so cute?
Judah opening one of his gifts from us...
He made really funny faces while opening presents.  Here he was saying "eeeeee" in a grunting noise like he was having difficulty getting the wrapping paper off.
Here he is having a little fun with wrapping paper....
 weeeeeeeee!

After spending Christmas morning in Galena, we headed over to my parents house for the afternoon to celebrate with them, too.

Uncle Abe got Judah a guitar which was a BIG hit!  In this picture, Judah is trying very hard to pull the guitar out of the package.

 Yay for trucks!
Grandad tried reading Judah a book that my parents used to read me.  Judah was not quite old enough to really enjoy the book, but there is always next year.
Uncle Abe with his 3D glasses on...don't ask.
