AHHHHHHHH!

It is KILLING me that it is the fall season, my FAVORITE picture taking season, and I don't have my camera back yet.  This must be some kind of lesson on patience or enjoying things without my camera or something, because I don't yet have my camera back and "they" keep telling me that it should be back "soon" (although they have been telling us that for a little while now).  The last time my camera broke (years ago), it took SO long, that Best Buy actually gave us a new camera because it was taking so long....seriously.  I am sure hoping that this isn't the case this time.  It's fall-the leaves are changing and there are so many fun places to go with the kids, yet alas, I am without my camera....AHHHHHHHH!  :)

We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

My parents and I decided to take the kids to the zoo this past Monday.  My dad decided to rent a van so we could all ride together, so that was fun.  This was officially the kids first time to the zoo.  Generally speaking, animals are not on the top of Judah's list of things that get him super excited (unless we are talking dinosaurs), however, I thought it was time for him to see some real live zoo animals.  I knew we would have a good time, and we did.  Oh, and we decided to go the Milwaukee Zoo and make a day of it.

A few memorable moments of the day included: 1. my camera breaking...yeah, that was a major bummer (and it was before we got to the really good animals...thankfully, my dad let me use his camera for the remainder of our visit), and 2. Judah actually went poop (a little) for the first time on the potty at the zoo!  I was going to use the restroom before lunch, and Judah said that he had to go potty, too.  He does this every once in a while and nothing ever comes of it, but I took him with me into the bathroom anyway.  He sat on the potty and grunted (while laughing...he thinks he is funny when he does this), and wouldn't you know it, but a little something came out.  He was so proud of himself, and so was I!  I think it was more coincidence than it was a real urge to go (not a lot came out...sorry tmi), but I was a very proud mama.  Okay, so back to the zoo.  We saw many beautiful animals, and we had a great time.  Judah said that his favorite animals were the giraffes and mine were the tigers....seriously beautiful.

Look at this little cutie pie!

It seemed like some of the animals were actually posing for us.  The neat thing about the Milwaukee Zoo is that many of the animals are behind glass, so you can get pretty close to them.  It was really cool.

Look at these two...one was grooming the other.

Judah really wanted to see snakes......nasty.

Ooooh....sparkly!

Look at this guy!

I even got him swinging!!

We took a little trolly ride around the zoo.
