26 weeks

This was me with Eden around the same time....

Well, I am plugging along over here and rounding the last leg of my second trimester.  My pregnancies are pretty similar for the most part, but one of the differences in this one is that I am pretty tired even still.  Typically, I would have felt better during the second trimester, but I would say that I am more tired overall this time around.  I just don't have much energy.

Also, my heartburn isn't quite as bad as it was with the other two (yet), although I do still have some.  It should kick in more during third trimester.  I don't have many aches and pains just yet, although that usually kicks in third trimester as well.  I still am in love with "cutie" oranges and anything sweet.  I am starting to get more excited about meeting our little guy.  Every time I see a newborn, I can't wait to hold my own, but I am cherishing this time I have with my two littles (or trying to) before things change around here.

I would say that this little guy is about as active as Judah was (a bit less than Eden).  I wouldn't say that he is super active or that he kicks hard, but he is moving many times throughout the day and evening.  His little kicks and jabs feel sweet.

I'll keep the updates coming!

24 weeks

Well, time is flying through this pregnancy over here.  I can't believe that I am 6 months already.  I really need to get my act together and have Eric take a picture...yikes!  I read that the baby is about a foot long (and it feels that way, too).  Some heartburn has started at this stage (typical of my pregnancies).  Eric recently felt the baby moving, which was fun.  It was especially neat because as soon as Eric put his hand on my stomach, the baby started really kicking right where Eric's hand was!  Eric said that the baby was saying hi to him. :)

I think the baby has an official first name (we refer to him by that name at home), but we won't announce it until he is born.  It has been neat to see Judah ask about his "baby brother" or refer to him more now.  Just today, I started taking out some of Judah's baby clothes to see what I had for the new baby, and Judah had fun looking through the clothes with me telling me what his baby brother will like to wear.  He specifically thought that anything with diggers or dinosaurs on it would be a hit. :)

I think I just hit a growth spurt because I feel like my stomach is humongous!  I'm not sure how this is going to look by week 40. :)  Cravings are pretty much the same, although I have noticed that I have to eat smaller meals throughout the day because I get full quicker.

I'll try to get a pic up soon!

Another snow day

Here are the kids having more fun in the snow.

Basketball in the snow?  Why not!

"I'm going to get you, Mom!"

She loves to shovel. :)

Tasting snow...yummy

He's up to no good again!

He's excited to be on top of the "hill"!

"Mom, look what I found!"

Eden was cracking me up because she was walking up and down the sidewalk like this with her hands on her coat...she is so silly!

Judah rolled down the snow pile and thought it was hilarious.

Hair update

Here are some more recent photos of Judah's hair.  I will be taking him very soon to just get a slight trim and maybe some shaping done (since it hasn't been cut in 4 months), but his longer hair is growing on me...haha...pun intended. :)  I am really liking his longer hair more recently, since the awkward stage has mostly passed now and it looks like a more intentional hairstyle.

Big Boy Bed

Last weekend, Judah finally got his official big boy bed!  We had been waiting to find out the sex of the baby to determine what kind of bed we would buy for Judah, and since he will be eventually sharing a room with a brother, bunk beds it is. :)  We only put up one of the beds for him right now since he doesn't currently need both beds, but we will have them for the boys when the time comes.  Judah was VERY excited to get his new bed, and he has loved sleeping in it.  He has said things like, "This is the best bed ever" or "This is such a comfy bed".  I even put up a couple new things in his room to go with his cars and trucks beadspread, which he also thought was fun.  After I decorated his room with a few things, he came out and said, "Mom, it's like a party in my room!". :)
