UPBC-Day 2

This was just a hang-around-the-camp kind of day. I did some painting in the morning, and the kids did archery and the zip line (well, Judah did the zip line).

Most evenings, there are volleyball or basketball tournaments. Eric likes to participate in these, and he came extra prepared this year with an ankle brace for his left ankle, since he sprained it over spring break and didn't want to risk doing that again. Well, wouldn't you know it....he sprained his RIGHT ankle during a volleyball game this evening. Yes he did. So, poor Eric had to spend the remainder of camp hobbling around on a bum ankle. One of the most disappointing things about it was that he was really looking forward to participating in the basketball tournament the following evening. Well, there's always another year, I guess!

This was fun to do!!

These two. They took it upon themselves to dig up rocks and make a rock/stick pile with all of their findings. I absolutely loved this. They spent hours and hours during our week doing this activity. The pile pictured below got bigger and bigger as the week went on...so great!

This was obviously taken earlier in the day before Eric hurt his ankle.

Digging away

I was trying to get a picture of the boys with their water balloons, and Michael came up at just the right moment and popped the balloon in Judah's hand...well, played, Michael, well played.
