Cousin Visit Continued

On Sunday, we went and saw the Crystal Lake 4th of July Parade. We ended the day going to the beach to watch the fireworks! Haley couldn't join us for fireworks since she wasn't feeling well, but the rest of the kids had some evening fun swimming in the lake, playing in the sand, and finally watching the fireworks.

Parade time

The highlight for these kids was catching the candy. Judah figured out that he could take off his hat to store the loot.

This little guy was so cute. He would hold out his hand like this if he saw someone handing out candy.

He would get sooooo excited if he got a piece of candy!

How could you resist handing out candy to this sweet little outstretched hand?

His expressions are priceless! Someone nearby commented that they have never seen anyone get so excited over a piece of candy.

These flips were pretty cool.

Ummm...

On to the beach. We got there early in the evening, and it was really crowded. But we were able to get a good spot on the beach, so the kids were able to swim and play in the water. They had lots of fun "diving for gold" and searching for "hidden treasure".

Hidden treasure and gold!

This is blurry, but I had to get a picture of how Asher watched the fireworks.
