Michigan-Day 2

We had hoped to spend this day at Oval Beach. It is a great beach, and we had wanted to take the Lewis' there. However, there were thunderstorms forecast for the morning and afternoon, which obviously would ruin any outside plans. We were checking the forecast regularly the night before and even the morning of to see if things had changed. It looked like thunderstorms were still forecast for the morning (I think it was like 80-90%), but we decided to head to the beach anyway and get in some beach time while we could. On the way there, I decided to pray with the kids and ask God if he would hold off the storms, so that we could enjoy the beach. Well, the Lord was gracious to us! We stayed at the beach all morning until about 1:30 before the rain started to come! I was so grateful that we were able to have this time at the beach. It ended up being a great time.
