Our trip to Pella this year was another blast. Judah and Eden were soooo looking forward to going. The night before we left, Judah said that he didn't think he would be able to sleep because he was so excited. Judah really loves spending time with his Uncle Brian and his Cousin Andrew. He couldn't wait to play basketball with Uncle Brian and run around with Andrew. Eden also looks forward to seeing Cousin Haley. She really looks up to her and loves spending time with her.
The kids had a lot of outside time running around, playing basketball, playing on the swingset, playing in the bouncy house and the pool. Judah and Andrew wanted to sleep together, so we attempted that as well. The first night Andrew fell asleep quickly, and Judah kept getting up saying he was scared and wanted to sleep with Eden, so we moved him. The second night, both Judah and Andrew fell asleep together, but we moved Judah later since he was all over the place. It was really cute, though.
Friday night, we went out to eat at a fun local country cafe, Goldie's Ice Cream Shoppe. It had great burgers and pork tenderloins, which were enjoyed by all. Saturday we scheduled an impromptu photo shoot for Asher's 1 year pics (although I will still have Sylver take some as well). The kids played and we had a relaxing day. I may or may not have done a little shopping as well. We hung out Sunday morning until after lunch and then headed home.
Some of the cute moments of the weekend: Andrew with Asher, "Hey, little guy" (which is what Andrew calls him), Haley playing dress up with Eden (she put her in a dress, put jewely on her, did her hair, etc.), Judah with tears in his eye as we left Pella saying, "I miss Uncle Brian already". One night, I was giving Asher a bath and Andrew was in there with me watching. He kept saying, "Hey, little guy!" and laughing. Then, he looked at me and said, "I don't know his name, you know." So funny.

Haley has some of these baby Disney stuffed animals, and Eden always loves playing with them, especially baby Lady. Eden had this stuffed animal with her wherever she went. Here she is pushing her on the swing. |

The first time Judah went on the pool slide, Eric told him to put his arms up while going down for fun-I think Judah thought he had to do it every time he went down...haha. |

We got one of all of them looking normal and even smiling! |

This is more typical :) |

Asher enjoyed watching the big kids have fun while enjoying some chicken dinner. Just to say, we don't usually give Asher large pieces like this...Eric thought it would be funny to watch him try to eat it. |
Brian and Sara have these water sprayers/sqirters that you fill up with water from the hose, and then you can release the nozzle to spray water. The kids had a blast with these.

The kids and Eric decided to have a squirt fight. Everyone is ready to go! |

Eden didn't know it, but we had Brian and Sara get her a baby Lady when they visited Disney Land this summer. We were going to wait until Christmas to give it to her but decided to give it during this visit. |
