Seattle-Last Day

We had half a day to do something before we needed to start heading to the airport, so we stopped by Gas Works Park for the views of the city, and then headed back to Pike's Place Market to buy some goodies for the kids and something for my parents. I loved Seattle, and Eric and I both said that we would love to come back someday!

Gas Works Park-this is a public park on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company. This is definitely not a typical park here, but it is an interesting way to preserve some history as well as make it a place for the public to gather and enjoy the sights.

We also drove by another interesting Seattle trademark...the Fremont Troll.

This is the original Starbucks, which happened to be closed. Major bummer.

A few more market pictures...why not.

Going home-This is a view of Mount Rainier above the clouds!
