Cape Cod Day 2

Day 2 was the 4th of July! We saw the local parade, explored the downtown area, and ended the day seeing fireworks.

I was a little sunburned from the day before, so I spent some of the parade sitting back in the shade. :)

Chillin' back at the house

Here are some photos of the house that we stayed in...

Asher slept in a big boy bed for the first time, and he did great!

Walking around the downtown area

They had this really cool display of a bunch of different sharks painted and decorated differently

We went out for ice cream after dinner. I took a picture of this rock pile because this is what Asher likes to do anywhere we go (if there are rocks). It is so funny.

We found a great ice cream place. Against our better judgement, we let the kids get cones. Usually we insist on cups when it's hot out because cones can get really messy, but the kids wanted cones so we obliged. After all, what's a little mess on vacation? Well, these cones were huge and they were melting at a rapid pace. I've never seen the kids get this messy from eating ice cream! It was everywhere. I had to snap a few photos. :)

This was AFTER we wiped him off
