We were getting our carpets cleaned this past Saturday, so we thought it would be a good idea to get the kids out of the house for the day. We decided on a trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo. This is our second trip to this zoo, and we really love it. This time, we actually spend a little less time looking at the animals and more time exploring/walking the nature boardwalk. Don't get me wrong, we saw some animals, too, but we decided to be low-key and just walk around seeing the sights. I am still out of a camera for now (you have no idea how much this is killing me!), so these photos are compliments of my phone. Oh well...at least I can capture the memories somehow. :)

| This picture is terrible, but this was so fun to see-there was a baby Gorilla! In this picture, another Gorilla was just dragging the baby around very quickly. It was hard to get any pictures at all because they moved so fast and it was very crowded by the window because everyone wanted to see. The baby was so cute, and this was the kids favorite thing to see! |
