Asher 11 Months

It's hard to believe we are less than one month away from one year since Asher joined our family! Since my last post, Asher has learned to army crawl just about everywhere. His favorite pastimes include following his siblings around and picking up any little crumb or piece of plastic or any small thing he can find on the floor and put it in his mouth. Asher is sure to let us know when he doesn't like something by letting out a high pitched scream. He particularly doesn't like when we take away something that he is not supposed to have. Oh, and we hear a lot of that screaming when we drop him off at church nursery. Let's just say, I still have yet to sit through a service without being paged. :) The boy knows what he wants (or doesn't want).

Up until very recently, Asher would eat anything I put in front of him, but in the last two weeks, he has become more picky. His favorite foods include anything with cheese (grilled cheese, pizza, etc.), fruit (blueberries, grapes, etc,), potato items (fries, potatoes, etc.), chicken nuggets, and pees. He has six teeth with two more very close to popping through.

Asher loves to be where the action is, and he loves to laugh. He especially loves being around his siblings and laughing at them. Judah and Eden get a kick out of making Asher giggle. Judah often asks for me to lay Asher on his stomach and they both think it is so funny. It's very cool to see these sibling relationships form. I can already see a goofy side to Asher. He sometimes does something funny and looks at us laughing, like he KNOWS it's funny! Just recently, he was chewing on food and used his tongue to push a piece of his food halfway out of his mouth. He looked at us and started cracking up. How does he know that's funny? Silly boy!
