Eden loves wearing sunglasses. It is so cute. She has a variety of pairs: my sister-in-law passed down a couple pairs from her daughter, my mother-in-law bought her a cute pair, and I have gotten her a couple pairs over the years, so she has choices. :) This is good, because she likes to pick out which pair to wear on any given day. I just love to see her personality come out in what she picks and what she likes, and of course it does make for some cute photo ops.:)

Judah Starts School
Well, it' happened...my oldest is starting school! I have mixed emotions about this, but overall I am so excited for Judah. We kept him home last year as we felt that three was a little young to be sending him to school. I am so glad that we did, as we can see that a year later he is much more ready to engage in a school environment. He was very excited to start school. Prior to his first day of school, we went to a school picnic to meet other parents as well as his teacher and see his classroom, so that was nice.
Eric came along to drop Judah off on his first day, so it was a family event. :) Judah was very reserved when we got to school, and did not really want to talk to anyone, but this was no surprise to us-he normally takes a while to warm up especially in a new situation. I was able to stay for story time, which was "The Kissing Hand"....ummm...I am not ashamed to say that I shed a tear during that. Then, the teacher gave a heart sticker to each child and had them put it in their mommy's hand. Judah ran up to me, put the heart sticker in my hand, gave me a hug, and told me that he would miss me. Then he went off to play....just like that.
When I picked him up, he said that he had a good day and he liked school. He said that his favorite thing was "playing with dinosaurs and feeding the fish". When I asked him what he thought of Mrs. Wesley, his teacher, he said, "She is beautiful." Hilarious!
