Florida Day 5

Eric had wanted to visit this Sun Harvest Citrus store that sells fresh fruit and a host of other things. So, we took the kids and headed there on day 5. They had delicious varieties of oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, and even strawberries. They had fresh juices and also served soft serve ice cream. It was a really fun store to visit.

After that, we had more pool time (but of course), and then my parents volunteered to watch the kids while Eric and I headed out for a date. Eric made reservations on Sanibel Island at a nice restaurant called the Mad Hatter (after the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland). The restaurant was right on the beach, and we were able to get a window seat! We both ordered the grouper and it was a-ma-zing....oh my word, so good. After we had dinner, we walked out to the beach and watched the sunset. It was very cool. Eric said, "This turned out just the way I had hoped it would." Right after we saw the sunset, we started to walk the beach looking for seashells. Eric was very nice and decided to wade in the very cold water to see if he could get some good shells for me. He was able to find some good ones, but most had living creatures in them. He did end up getting me a couple that were empty-good job, honey!

Enjoying ice cream in the morning...this is what we call a vacation privilege. :)

Eden was so sweet. She offered her little brother ice cream when she saw he was upset that he didn't have some.

Go, go, go little man!
I call this series "Asher-loo in the pool with daddy. He's so cute I can't stop taking pictures." :):)

Ahhh...sooooo cute!!!

Let the evening begin!

This is a view of the back of the restaurant from the beach

Going....

Gone!

While we were on the beach, a little girl found some live starfish in the tide and pulled them out for all of us to see. Don't worry, she put them back in the water after a couple minutes. :)

Eric looking for shells...my hero. :)

This picture is blurry, but I actually love it because it looks just like a painting.
