I'm late on my Christmas posts! You would think that with Eric having some time off after Christmas, I would have more time for things like this, but we've been relaxing and tackling some projects at home not to mention that some of us have been under the weather (me included). Plus, my computer is acting funky and shuts down on me all the time, so it makes doing something like this take 10 times longer than it should, which is sooooo frustrating. ANYWAY....we typically spend the weekend before Christmas with Eric's side of the family. In the past, we have rented houses in Galena with room for all of us to stay at, but this year we celebrated together in Pella, IA (we stayed at a hotel). It was a great time had by all! Some highlights were the cousins playing together (especially Judah and Andrew), playing in the snow and sledding, eating yummy food, opening presents, decorating a birthday cake for Jesus, and all being together.
Judah really likes the whole Imaginext line of toys by Fisher Price, so he got some cool Imaginext dinosaurs as well as some cars from the movie
Cars. Eden got some of Haley's dress up princess clothes as well as some shoes and tiaras. She also got a Hello Kitty puzzle, a couple of stuffed animals, and a purse. We all had a great time hanging out with each other and celebrating the blessing that we have in Christmas-the Christ child, the Great Rescuer, who came to save us from sin and offer us knew life with Him forever.
Disclaimer: I take a lot of pictures....sorry. I really do try to whittle it down, but it's hard :) :)
