Pella 2012

We visit Eric's brother and his family in Pella, IA every year.  Sometimes we visit during Pella's Tulip Time festival in the spring, and sometimes we go out there in the summer.  This year, we opted for a summer visit.  One of Judah's favorite things to do when we visit "Uncle Brian's house" is to "shoot hoops" in the backyard with their fancy basketball hoop.  Let me preface this by saying that it was over 100 degrees every day we were there, but those boys would not be kept inside.  Honestly, I have no idea how they run around out there in that heat, but we made sure to keep them hydrated and come in for breaks when we could see their faces getting pretty red.  I think Judah would have spent all day outside playing if we let him.  It was very cute to see the dads out there with their two boys.  One of the things the (little) boys love to do is dunk the basketball on the big hoop.  Uncle Brian also showed Judah how to hang from the rim, too.  Judah was unsure of this at first, but soon loved doing it.  Don't worry, the dads always stay nearby to make sure that the little ones don't fall and hurt themselves.  Here they are the first two days playing basketball outside....
