Planting Flowers

Grandma Rowe came to visit this past weekend for Mother's Day and to plant flowers.  It has become an annual tradition (since I am useless in the yard), and I am so glad that Judah gets to experience nature in this way.  He was not interested in helping with the actual planting this year (he didn't want to get his hands dirty), but he really enjoyed "helping" by throwing away weeds or pretending to "rake" the sidewalk.  He also liked visiting the various flowers shops and garden centers.  We all had a great time enjoying the weather, planting flowers, and spending time together.

Grandma is trying to show Judah how to dig a hole in the dirt

Digging

Now it's time to plant the flower in the pot

Then time for water

Eden had some fun watching Grandma plant flowers..this is her silly smile.

The serious look

This is Judah's "cheese" smile that we get a lot of these days.

This is Judah helping by throwing away leaves...I love that you can barely see his head over the garbage can!

Daddy let Judah have a "treat"...his first Sprite.

The crew

This was Judah's version of raking....hilarious!
