Asher-isms

I thought I would post some of Asher's phrases or words that he has been saying for a while before I forget. He says the cutest things. These are some of my favorites...

"Cracky"- this is what he calls a cracker. It's a hybrid of cookie and cracker.

"Shoop"-this is perhaps my favorite thing he says. He says "shoop" when he wants to shoot a basketball in a basketball hoop. It's a shortened version of "shoot hoops".

"Side" or "ouside"-this refers to going outside

"Bacca"- this is a shortened version of "Chewbacca" from star wars. He has a stuffed Chewbacca animal that he sleeps with. We start 'em young around here. :)

"Chikup"- this is a word for checkup. Let's just say he has seen his sister play doctor a few times.

"Sayee"- this is sorry.

"Nana"-banana

"Hold you"- another favorite. He says this when he wants Eric or I to hold him.

"Dow"-when he wants to get down

"Tay-too"-thank you. This ones super cute.

"Oga"-this refers to Olaf from Frozen

Easter 2015

Here are some pics of the kiddos on Easter this year. I only got pictures of the kids, since I was busy hosting and Eric's family had to leave right after lunch. I had hoped to get pictures of the cousins and grandparents, but it wasn't meant to be. Despite the lack of pictures, we had a great meal and enjoyed our time together. Judah and Andrew were so cute together. When it was time to leave, Andrew wanted to stay and said that he wanted to see us more often. So cute. 

This little stinker is soooo cute.

Eden Turns 4!!

Eden's 4th birthday was a real treat this year. It fell on Easter weekend and Eric's side of the family was able to join us for the weekend. So, she was able to have lots of family in town for her special day. Friday we had a Doc McStuffins birthday party at home with family. Saturday, Eric and I took Eden to see Fancy Nancy the musical in downtown Chicago. It was so cute, and Eden had a great time. She rarely gets to spend time with just Eric and I, so it was a real treat.

These pictures are from Saturday.The Fancy Nancy musical was super cute. In the story, Fancy Nancy and her best friend, Bree, both want the lead part (of mermaid) in the school play. Bree ends up getting the part of mermaid and Nancy gets the part of a tree. Nancy has to work through her disappointment of not getting the fancy part of mermaid (and having to play a plain tree), and learns how to be happy for her friend while making the best of her situation.  

Eden wanted to wear her rainbow tutu to Fancy Nancy.
