Asher 9 Months

Asher-Loo is 9 months and time is flying now (although I am sure I have already said that about previous months, but it's true!). I'm a little late on this post due to Judah and Eden's birthdays, but our little guy is keeping us smiling around here. I am happy to report that Asher is now sleeping through the night. We decided to start sending Eric in at night when Asher started to cry and that worked like a charm. It was funny because the first time or two, Asher would cry really hard when he saw that it was Eric coming in and not me, but after a couple nights he started sleeping through the night.

We have also expanded Asher's food selection. We still give him some pureed food, but we also give him pretty much whatever we are eating in addition to that (in small pieces of course). Let's just say that he loves to eat just about anything at this point. He has had turkey, ground beef, bread, rice, Italian beef, chicken, cheese, potatoes and more. He loves it all (especially meat it seems). Oh, and this kid loves puffs. He LOVES them. You should see his face light up when he gets some. I am convinced that he would eat a whole container if I let him. He is also perfecting his "pincher" skills. He is getting better and better at getting food into his mouth, and definitely prefers to grab food himself over me putting it in his mouth.

Asher is not crawling yet, and seems content to stay in the sitting position (like his older brother was). He does not like to be on his tummy much at all. It seems like he gets frustrated that he can't go anywhere yet. I do see that he is more determined than Judah was. Asher wants to grab anything that is around him, and will get upset if he can't get something that he has his eye on. When he does become mobile, I have a feeling I might be in trouble. :)

Asher has two teeth on the bottom and his top front left tooth just popped through about a week ago. I think there are a couple others that will be making their appearance in the near future. He is still nursing about 4 times a day.
