Food Face

I just think messy food pictures of little ones are so fun.  To me, it captures of the essence of being a baby...messy, fun, not a care in the world-no understanding of social etiquette or what other people think of them.  It's something only a child can get away with!  It's also something that makes me laugh and reminds me not to take like too seriously and to cherish the little everyday moments with my kids.  There is nothing cuter than when they give you that big toothy grin with spaghetti sauce all over their face.

I'm Stuck!

Looks like I need to start strapping somebody in...

Outside

'Tis the season....the spring season, that is.  The weather is amazing which means we are outside more, which OF COURSE means....more pictures. :)  I take way more pictures when we are able to be outside becuase I like the natural light.  Here are some of my two munchkins since the weather has been nice outside.

20 Questions

I saw this cute idea of asking your child 20 questions around their birthday, starting at age 3.  You ask them the same 20 questions every year to see how their answers change as the years go by.  I loved the idea of asking my kids these questions, recording them, and someday putting them in a book to give to them.  Since this is Judah's birthday month, I went ahead the other day and asked him his "20 questions".  I had to guide him through/explain some of the questions to help him understand what I was asking, but all-in-all he did a great job, and I think he had fun answering the questions.

1.  What is your favorite color?  "Orange".....(followed by) "pink, purple, and red"

2.  What is your favorite toy?  "Diggers and trucks"

3.  What is your favorite fruit?  "Watermellon"

4.  What is your favorite tv show?  Veggie Tales/ "Larry Boy"

5.  What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? "carrots, pizza, rice and beans, chips, and sandwich"

6.  What is your favorite thing to wear?  Judah didn't really articulate anything for this, but he has a yellow t-shirt with a digger on it that he insisted I buy for him, so I would say that is his favorite shirt.

7.  What is your favorite game?  "football, basketball, baseball, golf"

8.  What is your favorite snack?  "rice cakes and raisins"

9.  What is your favorite animal?  "horsies and giraffe"

10. What is your favorite song?  He didn't asnwer this, but I will say that it is the Veggie Tales theme song since that is the song he sings the most.

11. What is your favorite book?  "Llama, Llama Red Pajama"

12. Who is your best friend?  "Leah and Ian"

13. What is your favorite cereal?  "crunch cereal" (referring to captain crunch)

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside?  "play baseball and golf"

15. What is your favorite drink?  "orange juice"

16. What is your favorite holiday?  He didn't understand what a holiday was at first, so his answer was "I like pirates".  After I tried to list different holidays for him to pick, he said "christmas tree".

17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night?  "blankies"

18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?  "pancakes"

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday?  "cake" (he was insistent on this one)

20. What do you want to be when you grow up?  This was another question that he had a harder time understanding, so after I tried to explain it and give him some ideas, he said "play sports, golf ball".
