Disney 2019-Disney Springs

We finally took the plunge and went to Disney! It was a full and busy trip, but we all had a great time and made memories for a lifetime (hopefully)! We were able to visit all the parks two days, except for Animal Kingdom, which was one day. It's hard to pinpoint a favorite thing we did or experienced, because there were so...many....things. I would say that Disney was not exactly what I though it would be-it was so much bigger and grander than I had it in my head.  We saw lots of great shows, rode lots of great rides, and met lots and lots of characters (which surprisingly turned out to be one of the kids favorite things). Since we will probably only do this trip once, we had the mentality that we wanted to experience all that we could (within reason), so that's what we did.

We flew in a day early and just spent time walking around Disney Springs and swimming at the hotel before our week at the parks. Our flight the night before was really late, so I was glad that we gave ourselves a day to take it easy before hitting the parks!

Florida, here we come...

We made it to Florida!

This was cool-they were building a gigantic Millennium Falcon out of Legos, and they had building stations where you could build pieces for the ship. Once you finished your piece and turned it in, you got a certificate saying that you helped build the Millennium Falcon. :)

Now time for some ice cream!
