New York-Day 3

This day we visited the boyhood home of Teddy Roosevelt. After that, we grabbed lunch at the ORIGINAL shake shack (yum), did some brief shopping (got to get those I heart NY t-shirts!), and headed to the Empire State building. Later in the day, Eric and the boys visited the Morgan Library and Museum since there was Tolkien exhibit, but Eden and I hung out at a nearby Starbucks since we were tired.

Fun story: Eden really wanted to buy a little purse backpack (with her money) while we were there, and we hadn't found one yet. Eric really wanted to take Eden to Macy's for the experience, and she wanted to look for a purse there, but she only had $20 or so to spend. I was very skeptical that she would find anything for that price at Macy's, but we found a clearance section on the lower level and she ended up finding one for $25...score!

We actually found an art store called Eden Fine Art, so we had to get a picture of Eden in front of it! We also went inside and they gave the kids free coloring books.
