Eden's theme this year was Cinderella. She has been wanting to see the (newer) movie Cinderella since it came out a year ago. We told her she could see it when she turned 5, so she has really been looking forward to this birthday. We also told her that she had to be 5 before she had an American Girl doll, so this birthday was packed with high expectations! Eden decided she wanted a tea party for her "friends" party, so we had her party over at My Secret Garden in Algonquin. It was suuuuper cute. After her friends party, we had my parents over and continued the celebration at the house with dinner, cake, gifts, and of course a viewing of Cinderella. I was so tired after all the partying, but it was totally worth it. Eden's 5th birthday was a blast. :) Warning: lots of pictures!

Okay, so this place was so cute. There was tons of dress up clothes, shoes, and jewelry. The girls dressed up for a while, had a tea party, and then Eden opened presents. What a cute idea! |

Can you tell she likes pink? |

Now we know what Eric would look like if he grew his hair out. |

This was Eden after her tea party. Side note: we don't typically put her in this car seat, but we let her ride in it since it was a special day. |

Eden's special Cinderella cake! |

We weren't sure where to put the candle, but Eric had a good idea-ha! |
