It's not technically fall yet (although it's fast approaching), but one of our annual fall outings is an apple orchard called Royal Oaks, which we loooove. There's lots of things for kids to do and the food is delicious. :) We typically go to Royal Oak Farm later in the fall when the pumpkins are out, but we decided to go earlier this year (we might go back again later). The downside was that there were no pumpkins out to make for cute pictures (ok ok, maybe not the biggest deal), but the upside was that it was way less crowded than it normally is. We didn't even have to wait in line for lunch (usually the line is really long)! Everyone had a great time. We ate lunch, played, rode the train, took a tractor tour, rode the carousel, and bought some apples and doughnuts. It was a really beautiful day out. The weather was nice and it was very bright and sunny (not a cloud in the sky)-not great for taking pictures, but again, maybe not the biggest deal. :) Here are some pics of our day. :)
