Well, I'm over a month late on this one, buuuuut that's how it goes. I posted his birthday post already, so this is more just a formality.
Our little guy is such a goofball and brings smiles to all of us on a daily basis. He loves to wrestle with his older brother (he gets a kick out of that), and his favorite thing to play with is balls. This boy loves balls. You could have a room full of toys, and he would go for the ball every time. It's cute because he likes to sit and roll the ball to one of us, and we roll it back and forth. If he sees a ball, he will immediately start squealing and pointing at it. If he is outside when Judah and Eric are throwing the ball around, this boy is watching intently the whole time. Even if I am walking him up and down the sidewalk in his little car, his head is turned trying to see the boys throwing the ball. Judah is a serious sports lover, and I am starting to wonder if Asher will be too!
At his one year appt, he was 21 pounds 4 ounces (49%) and was 30 1/4 inches tall (65%). He is not walking yet. He likes to babble and giggle. He loves to be tickled. He wants to be in the middle of the action. He likes to wave hi and bye. His favorite foods include blueberries, chicken, cheese, fries (well, potatoes of any kind), and peas. He still has two naps a day, and he loves his blankie. He is loud, particularly when he gets upset. If he is hungry and food is not on his tray asap, you can expect to hear an ear-splitting shrill. If one of the kids takes a toy that he has his eye on (especially if it's a ball), you can expect a loud objection. He is definitely our most vocal child. :) He smiles at Eric and likes when we call him on face time.
