Here are some more recent photos of Judah's hair. I will be taking him very soon to just get a slight trim and maybe some shaping done (since it hasn't been cut in 4 months), but his longer hair is growing on me...haha...pun intended. :) I am really liking his longer hair more recently, since the awkward stage has mostly passed now and it looks like a more intentional hairstyle.

Big Boy Bed
Last weekend, Judah finally got his official big boy bed! We had been waiting to find out the sex of the baby to determine what kind of bed we would buy for Judah, and since he will be eventually sharing a room with a brother, bunk beds it is. :) We only put up one of the beds for him right now since he doesn't currently need both beds, but we will have them for the boys when the time comes. Judah was VERY excited to get his new bed, and he has loved sleeping in it. He has said things like, "This is the best bed ever" or "This is such a comfy bed". I even put up a couple new things in his room to go with his cars and trucks beadspread, which he also thought was fun. After I decorated his room with a few things, he came out and said, "Mom, it's like a party in my room!". :)

The Results Are In
We had a great doctor appointment/ultrasound yesterday! Of course, the most important thing is that we saw a healthy baby. The ultrasound tech showed us all the body parts she was checking, which is always neat to see. Eric and I both said that this was probably the most clear ultrasound that we have had. For some reason, we could see everything she was showing us (without being too confused). The heart, bones, blood flow, brain size and tissue, arms, legs, kidneys, and everything else she checked looked good. We are so grateful for that! The baby was moving around, opening his mouth, and moving his hands and legs. It was so cute to see the little feet and toes all curled up in there. :)
Another thing that was clear was the gender. Yep, no hiding at all. We are happy to announce that we are having a BOY!!!! The tech told us that she never gives 100% on the gender, but if she did, she would give it to us. :) We are so excited to be having another boy around the house in the near future. Judah will have a brother to grow up with. Eric will have his boys to take to games and do fun boy things with. Eden and I will have a little buddy to love on. We can't wait to meet him!

Halfway There
Yeah for being halfway through my pregnancy! I am a few days late on this post, but I am going on 20 (almost 21) weeks. Tomorrow we have our 20 week doctor appointment and ultrasound, so hopefully we see a healthy baby and maybe get a peek at the gender. :) I suspect that we are having a boy, and Eric thinks it is a girl, so we will see who gets this one right. We will both be truly happy either way, of course!
I am feeling pretty good, although maybe a tad more tired than normal. I still have a sweet tooth, probably more than I did with the other two. One of my biggest cravings are oranges...the little cutie ones. I have at least one a day, but more like two or three. Seriously, I love them. :) I also have re-discovered a love for nutella, which I typically have with a banana or crackers. Oh, and I also like to eat peanut butter, also usually with crackers....and cheese....I like cheese. Okay, enough about food now.
I started to feel baby movements between 17 and 18 weeks, but they were really not that noticeable until closer to 20 weeks. Now I feel small movements here and there throughout the day-nothing too crazy, but little pokes which are so sweet.
We will keep you posted!

Winter Wonderland!
It was nice to get such a big snowfall this winter. I think every winter should have one really good snowfall to make things all nice and white and wintery (is that even a word?). It is soooo pretty around here now......ok, I'm ready for spring. :) Judah and I went outside the other day since it was decent weather and we had such great snow to play in. Eden went down for her nap so it was the perfect time to get in some one-on-one mommy-son time. Judah just loves the outdoors. Both of the kids do, really, but Judah wants to get out any opportunity that he can. I kind of feel bad especially in the winter, because I am not a cold outdoorsy person, but who can resisit all this wonderful snow!
Judah wanted to finish shoveling the driveway (the part that daddy didn't get to), and he also discovered the concept of throwing snowballs thanks to the neighbor kids. I took this opportunity to snap some shots of my little guy who is not so little anymore. Plus, I think snowsuits are hilarious because they make children look kind of chubby. So, of course, that is well worth a picture...or ten.

A Little Nighttime Snow
After dinner last night, Eric wanted to go out and clear the snow off the driveway, so we decided to let the kids go out and have some fun, too! Needless to say, they had an absolute blast playing outside with all the snow falling. We gave them each a shovel, and they "helped" clear the driveway.
When it was time to come in, of course we had to have hot chocolate, which Judah chugged down in no time. He then proceeded to ask for water, so I think he must have been super thirsty. I couldn't believe how drenched his hair was, too. I was trying to figure out if it was from the snow or if it was sweat, but either way, it looked as if he had just gotten out of the shower!
