Thanksgiving 2015

We were in Pella with Eric's side of the family for this Thanksgiving. Here are some pictures of our time. The cousins had a great time with each other. Judah and Andrew were basically inseparable! A fun time was had by all. :)

Sara's parents came over for Thanksgiving day. Asher loved playing with Sara's dad. He just walked up to him and started playing with him. It was really funny.

On Friday, Eric and his brother went to an Iowa football game. We took a picture of the kids in their shirts to show our support. :)

These two spent a lot of time playing games on the I-Pad

She wanted me to take another picture of her on the slide without her hood on

On our way home, we stopped in Davenport and drove by the house where Eric first lived in.

The First Snow

The kids couldn't wait to get out and experience the first snow this past weekend, and what a snow it was! I think we ended up getting about a foot or so! It was great heavy packing snow. It was just Eden and Asher playing outside with Eric for a while, because Judah had spent the night at Grammie and Grandad's house and he was still over there. It wasn't long before my mom sent me a text saying that Judah wanted to come home so he could play outside in the snow. :) So, I went and picked him up, and he promptly got on snow gear and headed out. I was able to stand in the garage and take pictures of the kids while they played outside.

All Eden wanted to do was to eat the freshly fallen snow. Almost every time I saw her, she was trying to eat snow....silly girl. Prior to this snowfall, she had said to me many times, "Mom, I can't wait for it to snow so I can eat it."

Going back for seconds

Daddy decided to start gathering snow for a snowman. This was GREAT packing snow.

Back to eating that snow

This picture is so funny. This was the face she made right after she ate the snow! Complete satisfaction...

Somebody fell...

All done!

I thought it was really funny not only to see the snow gathering on our basketball net, but also the fall leaves still on the tree!

Judah is home and joining in the fun!

Well, if you can't fill it with sand, I guess snow is the next best thing?

He must have been influenced by his sister's behavior.
