My Little Cantaloupe

I'm 34 weeks and plugging along.  I read that baby girl is about the size of a cantaloupe, although I am thinking that she might be a little bit bigger than that.  It's so hard to believe that in 6 short weeks, I'll be meeting my little cantaloupe!

Happy Valentine's Day

I had a more difficult time getting Judah to sit still with his Valentine's Day sign this year, but here he is wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!

Here is Judah last year on Valentine's Day.  I love looking at older pictures to see how much he has grown and changed.

This year, we attempted to work on a Valentine's Day project which worked out well for the most part.  Judah isn't much into "crafts" at this point, so I try to save them for more special occassions.  I did let him use markers to color....thank goodness they make washable ones!

My little guy working diligently at coloring his hearts.
 Great job, buddy!
Here is one of the finished projects.  Daddy loved it!
 Hmmm...can I eat these?
He decided that answer was yes.
Mommy had to take the markers away....so sad!
Don't worry, we moved on to Play-Doh and he was fine.

Baby Girl

Eric and I went to get a 3D/4D ultrasound of our baby girl today.  We had done this with Judah when I was pregnant with him, and it was a fun experience, so we thought we would do it again for baby girl.  We also thought that it might be a fun experience for Judah to "see" his little sister.  Of course, when we got there, she was asleep and had half of her face up against the uterine wall, which made it difficult to get a decent picture, and Judah was not the least bit interested in sitting still.  We tried to get her to move with little success, but we did get a few pictures.  I remember that we had the same problem getting a good picture of Judah, too.  We did see that she has chubby cheeks (already) as well as hair.  We also saw her sucking her thumb, which was cute.

Here are two pictures of Judah's 3D/4D ultrasound to compare, but his was about 6 weeks earlier than hers was, so you can definately see that she has a little more "meat" on her.

Random pictures

Here are some random pictures that I wanted to post from last month.

My friend Sylver took these for fun.

I call this series "Where is Judah?".  He was messy with applesauce from lunch, but it's still cute.

 Here I am!
 Yay!

I was pretty impressed by this stack of blocks that Judah was working on.  He might have had a little help from mommy, but it's still pretty good.

 Admiring his creation

Cutie enjoying yogurt

He sometimes like to walk around with his "blankey" over his head.  I was able to capture it in a rare moment when he was actually standing still.

Judah loves hangin' with his best bud.
 Fun with daddy!
Judah loves to climb over daddy....
 and hug the cat.

Our Snow Day

It's funny because today was really not unlike many of our days, since I stay at home with Judah, but there is something about not being ABLE to go anywhere that makes me feel more cooped up.  We had quite a snowfall, and, of course, we were snowed in, so here is what our snow day looked like: ate breakfast, watched our Baby Praise video, played "ball" (which consists of sitting on the floor and bouncing or rolling the ball back and forth), read books, (mommy) took shower, watched the snow outside, had a "tickle fight", danced (minimally), played with Play-Doh, and colored two pictures....all before lunch.  Here are some pictures...

The view from our front door.
Sometimes he likes to chew on the containers....
and sometimes he likes to wear the Play-Doh.
So mommy made him a necklace...
and a bracelet.  I know, I know, but I didn't know what else to make!
 Coloring Big Bird

 Mommy and Judah's finished creation!
We didn't get to quite finish this, but that's ok.

Then during lunch, Judah decided to get messy with the cottage cheese while mommy was on the computer...that'll teach me.

And then I uncovered this....notice the cottage cheese "curds" in his hair.
 So, we took a bath.
Judah all nice and clean...and watching the snow.
 My little sweetie!

Judah took a shorter nap, so we decided to go outside to "play" in the snow.

 Hilarious!
 Get me down from here!!!
 Weeeeeeee!
Well, I did discover that Judah's favorite thing is to taste test the snow.

Needless to say, we had a fun snow day, but this mommy is pooped!
